The only flaw in the DVD widescreen release is the placement of subtitles.
If you are projecting the film on a DLP as I did, you cannot mask off the
black portions of the lower letterboxed portion of the 16:9 image because
the subtitles are below the picture area. In the theatrical version, they
were in the picture area. It's a strange choice because they are partly on
the image and partly in the black bars.
